it is an ex U.S.A.A.F. UC-86 TTAF 1546
with a Serv-aero stc and motor mount for a Jacobs radial . the
forward fusalage
has been modified for the serv-aero mount and has a form 337 authorized and on
file
for the alteration.
The airframe has been apart and in dry storage since 1969 .
Project comes with 2 Jacobs R-755 L4MB radials
1 engine has 317 TT and 0 STOH the other engine is a core . also has a
Ham. Stand.
2B20 prop overhauled in 1976 and still in the shipping box. call for more

Wing Parts Wanted
I'm building a right wing for a client for his 24W-46.
Looks like I'm going to
be able to salvage all the hardware except that the drag wires loook pretty
rusty.
If someone has a good set of Drag Wires for sale I'd be interested.
Incidentally, I'm using Bill Scheunemann's "kit" and recommend it.
This and a prior experience with Fairchild 24 wings convince me they're the most
complex of that era, and a real challenge. It would be a very tall
mountain to
climb without his excellent jigs & pre-cut parts.

Fairchild 24R46 project for sale. S/n 241, no log books. Fabric installed on entire airframe Sept. 20, 1973. Always hangared. Fabric tests at 65 lbs. with Maule tester, has 337 but no sign-off. Have most fairings, complete IFR panel from the seventies. 220 Continental mounted on airframe, total time unknown, no paperwork for engine installation. UC-78 cowling in good shape. $15,000.00
PT-26 project, s/n42-65939 w/200 hp Ranger. Have most parts, center section needs rebuilding. $5000.00.

I am spinning some engine cowls for the cessna airmaster, fairchild 24w, and monocoupes. The airmaster will also have the inner nose piece.
The airmaster and fairchild are as per drawings and the coupe is as the last batch but with a smaller nose opening .

1940 Fairchild 24 with fresh annual. Engine is 200HP with 204 hrs SMOH. It has around 150 hrs since rebuild and it is an Oshkosh prize winner. I belong to the world wide Fairchild Club and mine is 2nd to none other. I have to take this action because of old age and health reasons. Take $85K which is a give away price. Tom.
